FEB 5: ANVAYA COVE WITH XAVI
I’m a huge fan of the beach, I’ve always loved the sea and how different the sky looks above it. Sand, salt water and the sun all have magical powers over me. It’s kind of strange, but I assume I was a sailor in my past life. Or a mermaid.
Anvaya Cove’s a beach and nature club in Subic, about 2 hours from Manila (If you don’t stop over anywhere and drive with a speed of at least 100km/h) I’m not sure if it’s members-only but Xavi brought me there since we’ve always wanted to go on a beach trip together, and Valentine’s day is around the corner.

Xavi picked me up from the dorm at 7am and we stopped over Delifrance (Yeh I know it’s called Cafe France now but i hate that!! sounds like an airport cafe) for quick breakie.

It’s got such a peaceful vibe! I love the abundance of trees, water and stone.

Lunch at their restaurant, which has a ridiculous variety of cuisines. I got Pad Thai and Xavi got Baby Back Ribs. Their shakes/coolers are also really good.

How such a metabolism exists, I do not know.

Making myself at home. I swear, the beach has healing properties.

Xavi hates saltwater so we had to shift to the pool :( Yeah, I had to be the vain girlfriend who sets up the timer and forces her boyfriend to comply. Teehee!

Arranged for massages around 5PM at the Veda Spa, where you can get services for a surprisingly reasonable price, considering the place was gorgeous.

One of the prettiest massage rooms I’ve ever been in! It even had a little deck outside with a jaccuzzi! But you have to pay extra to stay longer in the room. Their staff (not just the masseuses) were incredibly friendly and helpful. Xavi left his iPhone charging at the bar the whole day and it was untouched.

Sunset, couldn’t help myself from taking a photo of practically everything. It was all just to pretty! Xavi kept calling me “tourist” .. which i was being.
Aghh, I’m still hungover from the trip. Thank you, Xavibee! Yay, first roadtrip for the books. :)
